Did you know that up to 80% of problem connections are corrected simply by rebooting the DSL Modem/router and/or the computer? It's simple to correct most connection problems by turning off the modem with the on/off switch on the back side of the device. Wait ten or twenty seconde and turn it back on. Wait until the DSL light on the modem burns solid, then try bringing up a page in your browser. If that doesn't fix the issue, reboot the computer and try again. Most Email problems occur when changes are made to the mail client (Outlook Express, Microsoft Mail, or Microsoft Outlook).
Usually the changes have been made inadvertently. The best practice is to go into the Email program on your computer where you can delete the account and reset it back to the proper settings. Follow the instructions in the Email section to the left and you should be up and running again in no time!
